How Team Up Now uses AI

Last updated 13 October 2026

We use AI to cut down on paperwork. A person at Team Up Now decides who is put forward for a role, and our clients decide who they hire.

This page explains where AI is used, where it isn't, and what you can ask us to do differently. It applies to candidates, our staff and our clients.

Where AI helps

AI does first drafts and admin. A person checks everything before it's used.

  • Job descriptions and ads. AI drafts them from the client's brief. Our recruiters edit them and the client approves them.
  • Sorting applications. AI groups applications against the role's requirements and flags missing details, like work hours or location. It doesn't reject anyone. A recruiter reads every application that reaches the role.
  • Interview notes. With your permission, we record and transcribe interviews. AI drafts a summary, a formatted CV and a draft scorecard from the transcript. The recruiter who interviewed you checks and corrects them.
  • Emails to clients. AI drafts the endorsement email that goes with a shortlist. A recruiter edits and sends it.
  • Staff help. Our staff assistant, TunBot, answers everyday questions about payslips, leave and policies. It gives information. It doesn't approve or change anything.

Where a person decides

AI never makes a decision that affects your job or your pay. These are always made by people:

  • Every shortlist. A recruiter chooses who is put forward and signs off on every rating and comment before a client sees it.
  • Every rejection. If you're not progressed, a person made that call.
  • Who gets hired. Our client decides, after meeting you.
  • Pay. Payroll is calculated by fixed rules based on Philippine law, not by AI. Our team checks every pay run.
  • Performance, promotion and ending employment. These are decided by people at Team Up Now and the client, never by AI.

Your choices

You can ask us any of these at any time, and it won't affect how we treat your application or employment.

  • Don't record my interview. Tell us before or at the start. The recruiter will take notes by hand instead.
  • Tell me how AI was used for me. We'll explain what was drafted with AI in your application and who checked it.
  • Fix something that's wrong. If a summary, CV or scorecard gets something wrong about you, tell us and we'll correct it.
  • Have a person review it. If you think a decision was affected by an AI error, ask and a different team member will review it.

Your information

We handle personal information under Australia's Privacy Act and the Philippines' Data Privacy Act.

  • Our AI tools. We use Claude (made by Anthropic) for drafting and tl;dv for recording and transcribing interviews.
  • Training. Our AI providers don't use your information to train their models.
  • Where it's kept. Transcripts, summaries and scorecards are stored in our own systems, with access limited to the team working on your role.
  • More detail. Our privacy policy (/privacy-policy) covers what we collect, how long we keep it and how to ask for a copy.
